Hello Friends of Dabble!
The Holiday Season is upon us! Could there be a better time to dust off our crafty bugs? Whether you want to decorate your house, make holiday gifts for others, or just sit by the fire with friends and socialize, Dabble is the place to be this season! We’ve added several new classes and some on-going events – here is just a highlight of the things not to miss in December:
- HOLIDAY SPECIAL! 50% off all Studio Use Fees now through December 31st! Just in time to complete your holiday gifts & crafts!
- December Class List (complete details are on the Dabble Website). If you have a great idea for a class or would like us to offer classes at different times, just let us know!
o CREATIVE MEMORIES PARTY – DEC 11TH 6:30-9:00pm!!! MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!! What a perfect way to capture your holiday memories! Come visit the studio on Dec 11th for a night of socializing and scrapbooking making. If you’ve never been to a Creative Memories Party or have never scrapped – here’s your chance to start Scrapbooking and learn from the experts! Skill Level: All levels. Price: FREE!!! Refreshments will be served.
o Knitting I, II (2 week class): 2 class offerings – Check out Pat’s class before she leaves us for good! Wed 6:30-8:30pm, Dec 10, 17 and Fri 11:30am-1:30pm, Dec 12, 19. Skill Level: Beginner. Price: $25/class or $45 if paid in advance. Supplies extra.
o Crochet I, II (2 week class): Fri 4:30-6:30pm, Dec 5, 12. Skill Level: Beginner. Price: $25/class or $45 if paid in advance. Supplies extra.
o Learn to Quilt (6 week class): Tues 3-6pm, Dec 9, 16, 23, Jan 6, 13, 20. Project completed in the 3rd week is a Holiday Runner – just in time for Christmas! Skill Level: Beginner. Price: $220 for the six week class!
o Learn to Sew (6 week class): Sat 2-5pm, Dec 13, 20, 27, Jan 3, 10, 17. Projects include Beach Bag/Purse, Apron, & Fitted Garment of your choice. Skill Level: Beginner. Price: $200 for the six week class!
o Jewelry Makes Great Gifts! All month long – Saturdays 11:30am-1:30pm. Whatever your skill level, come to the shop and we’ll help you create that perfect gift! Skill Level: Beginner. Price $15/class. Supplies extra.
- On-Going Events. We’ve added several on-going events to the shop – Check them out!
o Crafty Mom’s: Tue 11am-1pm. We’ll complete fleece hats, bags, jewelry, no sew blankets…you name it, we’ll create it for your little one! Bring the little ones and come socialize with other moms, while you create something fun. Skill Level: Beginner. Price $20+ supplies ($5-10). Check the Dabble Calendar for weekly projects.
o Knit/Crochet Nights: Wed 6-9pm. If you already know the basics (cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off/chain, sc, hdc, dc) come join us to knit/crochet and ask questions. Learn a new stitch or get a quick refresher. Come once or make it part of your weekly schedule. Skill Level: All levels. Price: FREE!!!
o Mom’s Night Out Scrap Nights: Thurs 6-9pm. Supplies are laid out for a fun evening of socializing and scrapping. Can it get any better? All scrap equipment & stamps are available for use – bring a friend and create something memorable! Skill Level: All Levels. Price: $10

Dear Friends of Dabble,
Thank you to all those who have made these first two weeks of Dabble Studios a resounding success. There is still much work to be done, but we’re off to a wonderful start! We’re planning classes for the upcoming holiday season, we’ve created a meetup group, and the shop is almost completely priced (it’s a work in-progress). Over the next few weeks, we’ll be finalizing the brochure and getting that much needed class schedule out to you all. In the meantime, here’s what we’re up to:
- If you’re interested in getting up to the minute announcements on our classes, changes, community, etc – visit http://www.meetup.com/The-Torrance-Arts-Crafts-Meetup-Group/. We’ll be posting everything here to make sign-ups easier on everyone. If you’d like an invitation to our meetup, just reply to this message and we’ll send one out.

o Tues, Nov 4, 1:30pm: Scrapbooking Equipment 101 (all the ins & outs of the Cricut, Sizzix, Xyron, etc)
o Thurs, Nov 6, 1:30pm: Holiday Quilted Table Runners
